Seeing as how just about everything is being rebooted these days, 'Animaniacs' returning to our screens after a 22-year absence feels like it's right.
The new series aired last night on US streaming service Hulu, and while it's not yet clear when or even if it will make its way over here, the reaction so far seems to be that it's a return to form. In fact, the intro for the new series feels just as zany as ever.
There's references to their new contracts, their careers making a comeback, internet trolls, ethnic diversity, as well as featuring Pinky & The Brain and baloney in their slacks.
Really, it's got it all and it feels like it's 1996 all over again and we're watching this in between episodes of 'The Simpsons' and eating EasiSingles sandwiches.
