'Normal People' is the TV series everyone is talking about right now. It's showing on RTÉ here, premiered on BBC iPlayer in the UK, and on Hulu in the US so it's really gone global.

We previously did a deep-dive on where you might recognise 'Normal People' star Paul Mescal, who plays Connell, from.

Here's how you might know the actress behind Connell's girlfriend at Trinity, Helen Brophy.

Aoife Hinds plays Helen and she had a number of TV and film roles before 'Normal People'.

TV viewers will probably recognise her best from 'Derry Girls'.

In 'The Prom' episode in season two, she plays new girl Mae Chung.

Aoife is the daughter of actor Ciaran Hinds, who played Mance Rayder in 'Game of Thrones' and voiced Steppenwolf in 'Justice League', among many other credits.

Aoife Hinds also played Jeanie in 'The Commuter' opposite Liam Neeson.

She has also had roles in such series as 'Nightflyers', 'Cheat' and 'The Feed'.

In more 'Normal People' news, BBC want to bring the show back for a second season.
