You don't want to mess with those Scientology folks, in the moral of this story. HBO have decided to ever so cautiously dip their toe in the water of Scientology by commissioning a TV documentary based on the book 'Going Clear' about Scientology and Hollywood.

HBO Documentary Films President Sheila Nevin told The Hollywood Reporter that; "We have probably 160 lawyers" looking at the film, so they certainly aren't taking any chances.

Going Clear is written by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Lawrence Wright and looks at the life of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, as well as the influence his church has especially amongst those folks in Hollywood (Tom Cruise, John Travolta to name a few).

The book controversially makes claims of abuse that exist in the organisation which have been vehemently denied, so you can see why it's a hairy topic.

It's being directed by Alex Gibney, who won an Oscar for 2007's 'Taxi to the Dark Side' so here's hoping those 160 lawyers do their job well, so we can see the documentary in 2015 when it's due to be aired.
