Game of Thrones fans don’t get much of a break (we're still mildly traumatised after last week’s Red Wedding, and facing into a long wait for Season 4 after this week's finale) but luckily for those who have a GOT itch that needs scratching, the official exhibition is running this week in Belfast.

Showcasing over 70 items from the epic fantasy series, the GOT extravaganza has already been visited by over 90,000 people in Sao Paolo, Amsterdam, Toronto, and New York. We had a sneak peak at the weekend while some of the cast and crew were in town, and really enjoyed the opportunity to see the original costumes, weapons, and armour up close.

The level of detail is astounding, Elana Loewenthal from HBO explained that many of the costumes take hours to put together correctly, so rather than resetting them for each location, they simply hang the dressed mannequins on hooks and ship them from place to place in a huge container. We're sure they've spooked many a customs official along the way...

Alongside the main characters' iconic comstumes, there are lots of props and trinkets on display, including two of Daenerys’ dragon eggs (the third was given to George R.R. Martin as a wedding gift), Davos' severed fingers, and wildling crampons. And of course, it wouldn't be a Game of Thrones exhibition without the Iron Throne now would it? It presents one of the finest photo opportunities that any Game of Thrones fan could wish for.

So, if you fancy immersing yourself in all that Westeros has to offer then head on up to Belfast's Titanic Centre: Entry is free and the exhibition runs until next Monday, June 17th. Over 13,000 tickets have been reserved already, so you can't book them any more, but you can turn up and queue for entry. Think of it as your Night's Watch.
