It's been a busy few weeks for those EastEnders writers what with the revolving doors spinning like there's no tomorrow, one of the show's biggest characters announcing their comeback and another facing into a rather frightening New Year but now they've upped the ante by adding yet another plot twist.
Y'see, it seems they're actually going to attempt to inject a tiny bit of Christmas cheer into the usually bleak soap by allowing one of their characters to share some good news (yes, that's GOOD news for a chage) about what's to come for them in the future.

Well, she's no Virgin Mary but it would appear Kat Moon has her own immaculate conception going on as she finds out she's fallen pregnant by her on-again off-again husband Alife. They're off right now, legally, but we're sure that will change soon...
Anyway, yes, despite Alfie thinking he had trouble in that department, it seems he'll finally be having a baby that's actually his with the love of his life. And there we were thinking it'd Roxy who ended up pregnant, throwing a spanner in the works for everyone. We won't rule that one out yet though - you know what EastEnders is like...
