If you were lucky enough to see Episode 1 of the brand new season of The Walking Dead when it debuted in the USA over the weekend then you might have noticed a certain lass with a bit of an Irish accent on her.
Now, since we talk TV 24/7 there's no way for us to avoid the oul spoilers, but if you'd rather not know who the lady in question is before the episode ais on FOX tonight at 10pm you may as well avert the eyes, for your own sake.
If you were a big fan of Ballykissangel, rather enjoyed Intermission, or even became hooked on HBO's Rome then you'll already be well acquainted with the very talented Ms Kerry Condon.
The Tipperary lass was nominated for an IFTA for Best Supporting Actress back in 2011, so it's no surprise to see her popping up in hit TV series every now and again. As per IFTN, This time around she's playing a young woman who's had a bit of a tough run with the whole zombie apocalypse thing: She's bordering on insane, the poor thing.
"I was completely drawn to the part, the isolation and despair. It was great to be allowed play her in my own accent too." Condon said. "It took me days to wash all the make-up off. The hotel towels were black with dirt even after I showered. I felt so bad, I made sure to leave a really good tip for the chambermaid."
Catch Kerry in action on FOX tonight at 10pm, or on RTE Two early next year.
