If you've been watching the Great British Bake Off for the past few weeks then you'll more than likely have noticed that judge Paul Hollywood seems rather fond of student baker Ruby Tandoh. In fact, many viewers would go as far as to suggest that the baker had a bit of a crush on the 21-year-old former model.
Well, The Radio Times figured it was high time someone asked Paul that all-important question, and we have to say we're a little surprised by his answer. "Personally I think Kimberley's far prettier. With all the love in the world, Ruby's not my type," he replied, before going on to compliment the Philosophy student.
"She's a great baker, one of the most talented bakers who has walked in that tent. My job is to judge what goes on the plate. Always has been, always will be. I don't judge the person - Mary will back me up on this - because it's not one judge doing this. It's two. And we both say the same thing."
Viewers saw both Ruby and Kimberley making it through the show's final last night, alongside fellow baker Frances. It's reported that the Philosophy student will soon be approached by publishing houses, who hope to get her to put pen to paper and write her own cook book.
Ruby has proved enormously popular with the show's viewers, while Kimberley's little tendancy for 'know-it-all' commentary hasn't exactly made her the most lovable contestant. Could Frances be a dark horse and scoop the crown out from under their noses?
Catch The Great British Bake Off 's Grand Final next Tuesday, October 22nd on BBC Two.
