There was mass panic in BBC radio studios on Saturday morning apparently as Graham Norton failed to show up for his 10am radio show. Colleagues of his had to step in expecting that he was running late but the television host never showed.
Broadcaster and comedy actress Maria McErlane presented the majority of the show though she normally just co-presents the 20-minute Grill Graham problem slot on the show. She urged listeners to do their bit to get Graham there joking; "Can you all just go to your radios and say: ‘Wake up Graham, it’s Saturday. Maria is in your chair.’ That will get him up.”
Turns out the star may just have been nursing a sore head, as he was pictured out the night before with his buddy Nigella Lawson. A spokeswoman for the BBC said: “Graham was unwell overnight and was unable to do the show.”
Yeah. Course. Something you ate, was it Graham? Although, we've all had that 'one bad pint'...
