Really? Her? Yes, her.
Good tidings for Arrested Development fans, as the show's much questioned return has been confirmed by producer Brian Glazer, who confirmed that we'll be getting a whole swath of episodes in the fifth season of the show which should be coming to Netflix in 2016. How many? 17, to be precise. Which is a whole lot more frozen bananas (and we like it).
According to The Wrap:
Grazer said he spoke with Fox Studios on Monday, and everyone is on board. As a matter of fact, Grazer told Carolla that he broke the news to Mitch Hurwitz from the popular podcast’s greenroom.
"Netflix is determined to do more episodes, so we’re going to do more episodes," he told Carolla. Production is slated to begin after Jan. 1. "Fans can expect new episodes “four months after that," Grazer added.
So there you have it, we can expect more Bluth tomfoolery and magic about this time next year if everything goes to plan. This is Arrested Development though, and we know how their plans tend to go.
