Aside from Ricky Gervais' monologue, many of the major categories in last night's Golden Globes panned out as expected.

The big winners on the movies side were 'Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood' and '1917', picking up three and two wins respectively. Joaquin Phoenix, meanwhile, picked up the Best Actor (Drama) gong for 'Joker', while Saoirse Ronan lost out to Awkwafina in the Best Actor (Comedy / Musical) category.

In TV, 'Chernobyl', 'Succession' and 'Fleabag' took home some of the major gongs, including Best Miniseries, Best Supporting Actor for Stellan Skarsgard, and Best Actress (Comedy / Musical) for Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
