The actress has returned to our fair shores this week to begin filming the second season of hit series The Fall. The former X Files star is on location in Belfast reprising her role as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, who’s hunting serial killer Paul Spector, played by the lovely Jamie Dornan.

Anderson said; "I'm over the moon to be back in production with this team again and to step into the shoes of the elusive Stella for what promises to be an even darker second season". This next season is set to also follow the 6-hour long episodes format, and according to Dornan, we can expect to be impressed. He said; "I'm delighted to be back in production for the second series of The Fall,” said the 31-year-old. “[Writer] Allan Cubitt has outdone himself, and the scripts are stunning."

Dornan himself is not far off international stardom, as he is set to take on the role of Christian Grey in the adaption of the international best seller 'Fifty Shades of Grey', released next year. The Fall however, should be on our screens over the summer, and if it's anything like the first season, will mostly likely scare the living shite out of us. Look at him there now - as Graham Norton said, he has managed to make the phrase 'sexy serial killer' happen. He certainly has.... Anyways! The point of the story - Gillian is here, great news, howya Gillian.
