'Stranger Things' is one of the most successful Netflix series ever, and it made superstars out of its young cast.

However, that stardom has not come without its downsides or inappropriate moments courtesy of the show's devoted fandom.

In the past, Finn Wolfhard has spoken of his discomfort regarding inappropriate comments made by model Ali Michael, who posted a picture of the then-14-year-old on Instagram in 2017, with the caption: "not to be weird but hit me up in four years”.

Now, Gaten Matarazzo, who began playing Dustin on the show when he was 13, has shared a similar experience on a new podcast interview, saying some interactions he's had with 'Stranger Things' fans have been "uncomfortable".

One recent incident, he said, was "insane" as a mother in her forties and her teenage daughter met him.

"I did one very recently - and this is not very funny, but the reactions around it were quite funny - where this woman in her 40s said straight up, ‘I’ve had a crush on you since you were 13,’" he revealed. "And I was like, ‘That’s upsetting.’ I’m sure she just meant, ‘Aw, this kid’s cute.’ But then she doubled down."

He continued: "She was like, ‘I’m aware of the age difference.’ And then I was like, ‘Alright,’” he continued. “And her daughter was with her, and her daughter goes, ‘Mom, what the fuck?’ I swear to God."

The now-21-year-old also said "I've had a few butt grabs for sure" when taking photos with fans.

Season 5 of 'Stranger Things', which will be the final season, got underway in recent months.
