Never has there been a show with so many spin-off rumours and now there's yet another 'Game of Thrones' series to throw into the mix.

In a post on author George R.R Martin's blog on Tuesday, he said that playwright Eboni Booth is "working on a new pilot" called 'Ten Thousand Ships'. The spin-off had previously been rumoured to be on the way with screenwriter Bryan Helgeland on board but HBO scrapped it.

Martin's post was to congratulate Booth on her recent Pulitzer Prize win, saying: "She’s an amazingly talented young playwright, and a joy to work with; when not writing and producing her prize-winning plays on- and off-Broadway, she has been kept busy by me and HBO, working on a new pilot for 'Ten Thousand Ships', a 'Game of Thrones' spinoff about Nymeria and the Rhoynar.

"We’re all very excited about this one… though we’re still trying to figure out how we’re going to pay for ten thousand ships, three hundred dragons, and those giant turtles."

So yeah, sounds like nothing is officially greenlit but solid work is indeed in progress.
