It was never really in doubt to be honest, but just in case any of you were sitting up late at night wondering if one day soon your Game of Thrones supply would be cut off, have no fear, there is definitely going to be a season five and six.
There will probably be a seven and eight too really, consider author George R.R. Martin is still writing the books and the show's creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss don't seem even remotely ready to abandon the world of the Seven Kingdoms. The show's fourth season just kicked off this week, with the premiere gaining more viewers than it ever has before. In fact, the first episode drew more of an audience to HBO than the final episode of The Sopranos. So yep, this show ain't going anywhere.
