Game of Thrones star Iwan Rheon is going from the frying pan into the fire, as his next role after playing the horror that was Ramsay Bolton is literally the worst man in history, Adolf Hitler.
The role however is in a comedy series, the new Sky Arts show Urban Myths, which made headlines last week when the Michael Jackson episode had to be pulled as his family were offended. The show looks at remarkable stories featuring well-known historical, artistic and cultural figures, which may or may not have happened in real life. Hitler's episode is set to look at his fascination with art, and also stars Harry Potter's Rupert Grint.
Rheon had worries about taking the part out of fear that he would start being typecast as a baddie. Speaking to Jamie Stangroom, Rheon said, "[Being typecast] is something I massively have to look out for," he said. "But it's a short film.
"You get offered to play Hitler in a half-hour satirical view of him trying to be an artist and you can't really turn it down.
"But I think I have to be very wary now of not playing too many baddies."
We're not going to lie, his mere face strikes the fear of God in us, but we can only assume he has enough range to pull off a semi-decent human in one of his next roles.
Urban Myths starts tonight (January 19) at 10pm on Sky Arts.
