George R.R. Martin has shot to fame since Game of Thrones became the biggest TV show on the planet, and now he has plenty more people wondering when he'll get his work finished...or if he will, more accurately.
As it turns out, like most people would be, he's not too thrilled that others are speculating about his death, and seem to be a bit more concerned with the fact that he might not get his series of books finished, which would leave everyone without an ending to their favourite series.
In an interview with Swiss newspaper Tagesanzeiger, he said "I find that question pretty offensive, people speculating about my death and my health", before adding "so f**k you to those people". He even accompanied it with a helpful gesture, in case we were unclear as to what he meant.
According to The Verge, he has admitted that he needs to write a little bit faster, but given that he has apparently told the producers of the show what he has in mind for the overall ending, there's no need to get too stressed out about the whole series being left in the lurch.
