*Spoilers below*
None of the Starks have had an easy run of it on Game of Thrones, but we reckon poor Sansa has had it the worst. Her two fellas over the seasons have literally been the most evil characters in all of Westeros, with Sansa suffering unspeakable horrors in their hands, while up until recently she had thought every single member of her family was dead.
It seems though things will be on the up for dear Sansa in season six. Last we saw of her she was jumping over Winterfell's wall with Theon/Reek, and while we assume a fall like that must have hurt like hell, she's very much back on her feet in season six.
Turner told Entertainment Weekly; "I mean this season is a really, really big one for Sansa. It's probably her best season yet. It's her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it's really good."
Turner added; "It's amazing because the past five seasons, it feels like it's been building up and up to that. You can only suffer so much before she finally gets the respect that she deserves."
While she also said that Sansa was finally going to get "that storyline that you've been craving."
What have we been craving? An Arya and Sansa reunion? Now that would be sweet, although poor Arya may be blind now as we saw at the end of season five.
On season six overall, Turner said; "This season there's like, so many shocks, it's massive. It's the biggest season yet. And just like, in terms of character development, so many people's storylines, I'm so excited for."
Like Jon Snow's storyline? Huh? Could somebody just tell us once and for all if he's coming back... we can't handle the wait any longer.
Turner was saying all of the above at the SAG Awards over the weekend where she also managed to get within touching distance of one Ryan Gosling, and reacted appropriately...
