The Nordic, possibly sci-fi, generally kinda weird thriller series from Sky that boasted a cast that included Michael Gambon, Dennis Quaid and Richard Dormer is now ending after this season.
The news announced today by Sky confirms that the show will end with the current run of four episodes. In a statement released to media, Sky's head of drama Anne Mensah said that showrunner / creator Simon Donald "created this four-hour special event" that will round out the story and give "the perfect ending" to the mystery.
On top of that, Dennis Quaid, Richard Dormer, Sienna Guillory and many others will return for the four-episode finale, with filming expected to begin shortly.
No air date has been confirmed, but the series will as ever air on NOW TV and Sky Atlantic.
