We are all still expecting to see Tina McIntyre's pretty little head appear from behind the bar in the Rovers but alas, that will never be again thanks to crazy Rob. Never fear though Michelle Keegan fans, the actress has landed a new role in a BBC drama called Ordinary Lies.
She will play a receptionist/wannabe WAG in a car showroom according to the Daily Mail.
The official synopsis says: 'Set on the shop floor and in the offices of a motor showroom – Ordinary Lies tells the story of how desperation can lead to drastic solutions, even in the most everyday of workplaces. Following an ordinary group of colleagues and friends, the witty drama reveals the extraordinary, gradual unravelling of each individual’s torrid lies and secrets which, on occasion, lead to life-shattering consequences."
The six-part drama series is written by Shameless writer and BAFTA winner Danny Brocklehurst and will also star EastEnders' Jo Joyner, Sally Lindsay, Jason Manford, Mackenzie Crook and Max Beesley.
Not bad for a first post-Corrie project for Michelle so 'ey? It will be interesting to see if she can pull off a non-soap role, but it should be an easy enough transition with writers like Brocklehurst handing her the scripts.
No official air date has been given although it is set to be this side of Christmas so we will keep you updated.
