Hold on to yizzer pipes and caps chaps because Benedict Cumberbatch is heading back to 221b Baker Street rather soon and the BBC has just dropped the first official snap from Sherlock Season 3.
This still has us rather excited for the new series which is yet to receive an official UK air date despite show bosses confirming that it will debut Stateside in January. However, given the fact that the Beeb slapped the image up on the official BBC One Facebook page just before midnight, we're guessing Freeman and Cumberbatch's return isn't too far off.
Now, if only we could figure out what these two were thinking eh? How will I survive without my friend? Or who ate all the (what we can only assume was) pizza pie? And on a side note, how on earth does Mr Cumberbatch keep those cheekbones so well buffed?
