Three episodes in, and 'The Last of Us' is already cementing its place on end-of-year 'Best Of' lists.
Viewers tuning in this week were all set for upset after the ominous end of episode one signalled "trouble" ahead for Joel and Ellie at Bill and Frank's but that trouble turned out to be something much more heartbreaking.
In a major divergence from the original game, Bill and Frank turned out to be an odd couple thrown together by the end of the world, and we got to watch the reality of their post-Cordyceps apocalypse lives in a very Pixar's 'Up' fashion.
We just didn't expect it to be even sadder than 'Up'. And neither did everyone watching.
'The Last of Us' is available to watch on Sky and NOW with new episodes weekly until March 13th.
