Yet another soap star has been added to the lineup for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, following in the footsteps of previously announced EastEnders star Davood Ghadami.
Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson, who played Carly Hope on the soap, will be hitting the dance-floor this autumn and is the fourth contestant to be announced for the show, joining The Saturdays singer Mollie King and presenter Ruth Langsford.

The news was announced this morning (Thursday) on BBC Breakfast, with Gemma saying, "I felt so snide lying to all my family. I can finally say 'I'm doing it', I'm sorry for lying."
The actress added: "I'm beyond excited and incredibly nervous but I am looking forward to learning a new skill in ballroom and Latin dancing and taking on this new challenge."
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next month.
