She's killed two husbands and framed a few young wans for stabbings (Stacey Slater anyone?) and now Janine Butcher's about to bed another Walford lad before bowing out of EastEnders in what we're sure will be a characteristically charming fashion.

We all yawned last night as the Michael Moon murder investigation took another predictable twist which saw Alice charged with murder while err, 'Mrs Moon', walked free. Because really, you wouldn't suspect Janine at all...

Anyway, in what we're sure is another desperate attempt to bring the viewing figures up (we don't think we need to tell you how poorly EastEnders is performing) the show's writers have decided to chuck Janine into bed with another fella.

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read ahead if you don't want to know who she'll be getting it on with.

So, it appears that Janine's next conquest will be none other than... drumroll please... Joey Branning.

Yes. They're going to have her sleep with the fella who's sister she's just framed for murder. Oh but don't worry, it's apparently all going to happen while Joey's trying to convince her to admit his sister was far too fragile to ever kill someone.

Excuse us for just a second, we thought we saw a shark and someone on water skis making their way down the Thames in those opening credits...
