He once almost brought Olly Murs and Mila Kunis together (work with me here) by revealing that the singer wanted to have her babies, and now Graham Norton's helped another err, bad romance, blossom between EastEnders' Dot Cotton (June Brown) and Lady Gaga. Who'da thunk it, eh?
The pair are both set to appear on Graham's sofa this Friday night and it seems as though they got on famously while filming their episode of the BAFTA winning show. "You look amazing" Gaga told the soap actress, who revealed that she'd selected a her most outlandish outfit in order to try and keep up with the singer.
June didn't have to worry about impressing the pop star though, because she's apparently rather au fait with Dot Cotton and co. "No, don't say yes, darling. If you're not, you're not and I don't blame you. It's alright", Brown quickly interrupted when Gaga was asked if she was familiar with EastEnders. So, imagine her surprise when the Born This Way singer revealed she knew far more than we thought?
"I am and actually I am a really big fan of yours. You are so fabulously dressed. I am honoured to be sitting next to you" she told Brown before taking a sip from the small screen veteran's glass of wine. "I want to drink from your cup to see what those genes are", she added.
And to think, Gaga was only supposed to be a last minute replacement for Cliff Richard... We wonder if fellow guests comedian Greg Davies and actor Jude Law got to say much at all?
