Time to stick your tin-foil hats back on conspiracy theorists. Derren Brown is back again with a new television event, with teaser trailers being released for the upcoming show 'Apocalypse'. Sounds jolly, doesn't it?
Brown's previous shows have received complaints, acclaim and a rake of press, 2004's Séance receiving hundreds of complaints from suitably freaked out viewers. So with a title like Apocalypse, we should probably expect something equally mind-blowing and headline grabbing from the upcoming show. No other details have been released as of yet apart from the two clips below, but some eagle-eyed viewers have pointed out the the posters in the background of one of the videos read 'PLAY MIND GAMES SAT 24TH OCT', and as is Derren's usual style, this is either the date it will all kick off on, or we're all being brainwashed as we speak. Other internet commentators believe that Derren is going to convince someone the world is actually ending, and that they alone will have the ability to stop it. But if we know Derren, we know there's no point even trying to predict what he's going to do, because he probably knows what we're going to think already. So yes, into the kitchen and start making that hat then.
