It's a tough day for Ireland - no doubt about it.
After the hammering the nation received at the Millennium Stadium at the hands of the Argentinians, Daniel O'Donnell's now officially out of Strictly Come Dancing.
His dance partner, Kristina Rihanoff, was the subject of criticism, however O'Donnell bravely defend her from detractors, saying that she was a "good person" and that "if people knew Kristina and knew the type of person she is – and just the fact of the wonderful work she does for charity."
The man is a f*cking saint and we're not fit to tie his shoes.
Naturally enough, Irish Twitter was despondent at the news.
