Another series of 'Dancing on Ice' has skated past us, and yet again this series' winner has divided viewers opinions on who should have taken home the crown.
Last night's 'Dancing on Ice' winner was crowned as Joe Swash, Perri Kiely, and Libby Clegg all skated for their lives as the series culminated in a dizzying amount of impressive ice skating. The whole class of 2020 also returned to do a skating number during the show.
Bowing out in third place was Paralympian Clegg and her professional partner Mark Hanretty, leaving Kiely and Swash left to battle for the crown. Ultimately, Swash was crowned the winner - his second reality show win, having previously won 'I'm A Celeb' back in 2008.
And @realjoeswash & @almurph18 are taking home the trophy! ? #DancingOnIce pic.twitter.com/uDy9bDWzH8

Many viewers were slightly put off by the 'Dancing on Ice' winner, however, with many believing that Diversity dancer Kieley was "robbed" of the title.
Here's how Twitter reacted to the 'Dancing on Ice' winner being crowned.
@dancingonice is not fixed, the right person won tonight fair and square. Congratulations to Joe ???? #DancingOnIce

I love Joe Swash and he is most improved but @perrikiely was in a league of his own. He hands down should have won it. Back flip on the ice and outstanding Bolero. Just amazing #DancingOnIce

This is exactly like what happened with Dev and Dianne on Strictly last year! Perri and Vanessa were way better #DancingOnIce

I thought this was a skating competition, not a popularity vote!Judges should have the final vote. I like Joe, yes he improved he still wasn’t the best, therefore Perri was robbed, so so disappointed with the result. Not watching again !! ?

I don’t think this is the wrong result. Joe was all over in week 1 he has improved against all odds. I never understand why people have to come on to Twitter and be so rude. The best person won.

No - sorry but that’s so disappointing - he was most improved but not our winner. Every week perri broke new ground and his bolero was perfect - brought tears. #perriWINNERDOI RT if you agree. #DOI

Joe Swash and Alex totally deserved to win #DancingOnIce tonight. They’ve improved so much. There are some cruel comments from people as usual and some are tagging Joe. Don’t do it, if you’re not happy about the result fine but don’t be nasty there is just no need for it

I'd watch Perri again, and again, and again. He's maybe a professional dancer but to put that on ice?#DancingOnIce

Further evidence the British public can't be trusted with a vote #DancingOnIce
— Kai Berry (@KBez11) March 8, 2020
Sorry, it wasn’t ‘most improved’ or ‘most popular’ - it was supposed to be ‘best dancer’. When you allow people to vote before the skating is finished you aren’t voting accurately. Joe did really well, but @perrikiely was superb. Best bolero EVER #DancingOnIce
— Jenny Pepper (@jhpepp) March 8, 2020
What a load of shite! @perrikiely was totally robbed, his routines were flawless and his Bolero was supreme #DancingOnIce
— Rebecca McCalden (@RebeccaMcCalden) March 8, 2020
#DancingOnIce Christopher Dean..”That’s the best Bolero we have ever seen”. The British puplic...who cares I’m vote for the thick bloke off Eastenders!..no wonder they are fighting each other for toilet rolls in Tesco, complete travesty!
