We're well used to hearing Michelle Keegan referred to as Coronation Street's resident eye candy so it's probably no surprise to hear that she's once again topped a 'hottest girl on TV poll'.
Keegan beat off the competiton for the bazillionth time to claim the top spot in FHM's most recent run down of lassies that the lads (and other ladies) like to look and/or leer at. We have to say, we're quite happy to hear that the more demurely dressed Tina is a hit with the viewing public, but we have a feeling it's Michelle's real-life ensembles that have made her a hit with the readers...
The actress, who just so happens to be on the cover on FHM this month looking a little more Michelle than Tina in fairness, says she still doesn't understand why people think she's top totty. "I really didn’t expect that! It’s very flattering, especially as I don’t play anyone sexy. My character, Tina, is really dressed down and she’s a tomboy, so I don’t really get it, but I’m chuffed!"
Keegan went on to say that she definitely thinks ladies look better when they don't try too hard. Perhaps that's why she's ended up with Mark Wright off The Only Way Is Essex so. Sure doesn't he have that same ethos? *waggles eyebrows*
"I agree that girls look better when they’re dressed more natural. I think that’s a bit more, not sexy, but real, you know? And I find that more attractive. You know what it is? I think you’re more sexy when you’re not trying", she tells FHM readers, while posing in a leotard and a bobbly winter hat. You go girl. In fairness though, she's definitely a beauty, and has proved she's far more than just a pretty face.
And as for the other ladies on the list? Well Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter nabbed spot number 2, with 30 Rock's Katrina Bowden and Oliva Munn (of The Newsroom fame) claiming third and fourth place respectively. Emily Atack from The Inbetweeners rounds off the Top 5.
What will those Corrie bosses do without her, eh?
