It's almost a year since the tragic demise of popular Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, who played the feisty Tina McIntyre on the cobbles for seven years.
Fans of the actress will be delighted to hear that she will return to our telly boxes this month for new BBC primetime series Ordinary Lies where she plays Tracy, a party-loving receptionist in a car showroom. There she is now...
The show, which is written by BAFTA and International Emmy-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst (Shameless) will tell the story of 'how a simple lie can spiral out of control' and 'questions just how well we know the people we work with'.
The whole series is set in the car showroom with each episode focusing on one of the characters, with the cast also including fellow former Corrie star Sally Lindsay, former EastEnders star Jo Joyner, The Office's Mackenzie Crook, Inbetweeners' Belinda Stewart-Wilson, comedian Jason Manford, as well as Max Beesley (Hotel Babylon), Shazad Latif (Spooks) and Cherelle Skeet (Call the Midwife).
Sounds very promising!
Ordinary Lies will premiere on BBC One on Tuesday March 17, with the exact time yet to be confirmed.
