We've had UK and Aussie soap crossovers before, most notably when Home and Away star Emily Symons took up a role on Emmerdale for a few years, but we're not sure we've ever seen a former member of Corrie on Ramsay Street before.
33-year-old actor Ryan Thomas, known for his role as Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles is set to head down under for a part in Neighbours. A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper, "Ryan's news may come as a bit of a surprise but people are confident he'll make a big splash on Neighbours. He'll bring his Corrie fans with him and earn a new legion of fans along the way. He is just waiting on his visa. Then he'll be moving to Australia to film the show."
It's thought he could be playing a character called Raphael, but not much else is known about the role or how long it would be for.
There's also rumours that Ryan could be appearing in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' this season, following in the footsteps of his brother, Emmerdale star Adam Thomas, who starred on the 2016 series of the programme,
All of this comes from 'sources' and 'insiders' so far though, so we'll have to wait and see if it's confirmed.
