If you had any doubt in your mind that people didn't want a statue of Chief O'Brien somewhere in Ireland, guess again.
After we posted a story last weekend about a petition to have a statue made out of Chief O'Brien somewhere in Ireland, over 2,000 signatures have been collected thus far.
What's more, the signatures appear to be just about everywhere - Ireland, the UK, Canada, the US, Europe, there's even signatures from as far away as Argentina.
So, what happens now? Well, we've now contacted the Dublin Arts Office and given them the details of this petition, so here's hoping something actually comes of it.
