Breaking Bad Season 5 will see the end of the hit TV show. Tear. Part two of the season is set to return to our screens in August and to promote the series star Bryan Cranston took to Reddit to answer all those die hard fans questions about the final series.

In the interview Bryan Cranston has likened finishing the show to the same feeling as retiring after winning the Superbowl. 'In a way I'm sad to see it go, but in another way I'm so proud of it. To me it's like retiring after winning the Super Bowl,' said Cranston.

Cranston also answered some questions on his character Walter White, a chemistry teacher who upon finding out he has cancer starts cooking crystal meth in order to get money for his family in case of his death. However as the series progresses we see a much darker side to the character. In the interview Cranston pinpoints the moment that he thinks Walter turned bad. 'My feeling is that Walt broke bad in the very first episode. It was very subtle but he did because that's when he decided to become someone that he's not in order to gain financially. He made the Faustian deal at that point and everything else was a slippery slope.'

Cranston also addressed how the role has taught him things he didn't even know about himself especially coming from a comedic role - he played the Dad in 'Malcom in the Middle' - to such a dark character in 'Breaking Bad'. 'What I discovered is that everyone has a dark side. It might be unrealized, untapped, but if the right buttons are pushed anyone can become dangerous and I just opened up to it, Now I don't want to say that I killed people in preparation for the role ... but I can't deny it either'

After the intense and action packed part one of season five it will be interesting to learn how the series will end, Writer Vince Gilligan has admitted he cried upon writing the end of the show, it must be that good so. When questioned if he was happy with the ending Cranston gave nothing away bar saying  'Breaking Bad' ended the way Vince Gilligan wanted it to... which is exactly what I wanted'.

Cranston also highly praised his co star Aaron Paul who plays Jesse in the show, whose character was not meant to make it past series one.  'Jesse was not supposed to survive after the first year. He was a character that was need [sic] to introduce me into that world and then he was going to die. But Aaron Paul captured something in him that was so necessary to the fabric of the show that it was a no brainer to keep him. They knew in broad strokes where the character was going to go, but they kept resetting after each season.'

The end of series five will air on our screens in August and has been described as the best of the whole series. Given how amazing it has been so far we can't wait to see it.
