Former Westlife star Brian McFadden and his wife Vogue Williams (of Fade Street fame) will be taking part in a new celebrity dance show for ITV, which will be hosted by Davina McCaul. And who knows, this could be the start of a wonderful run of celebrity game show appearances for the couple.
In a new twist on the 'celebrity-dance-contest' genre, Stepping Out will take six celebrities each week and team them up with their actual real-life other halves, tasked with mastering a dance style.
Other celebrities taking part include: JLS singer Oritsé Williams and girlfriend AJ Azari; actress and Loose Women presenter Denis Welch and husband Lincoln Townley; actors Glynis Barber and Michael Brand; boxer Carol Froch and girlfriend Rachael Cordingley; and designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and wife Jackie.
It's not the most overwhelming line-up for a celebrity dance show but Davina seems enthused: "I'm beyond excited to be hosting Stepping Out, I love dancing and I’m a nosey parker. I can’t wait to see how the couples are going to cope trying to learn the cha cha or pirouette whilst doing the school run or cleaning."
So are you excited about this new concept or done with the whole celebrities dancing thang?
Transmission dates for Stepping Out dates have yet to be announced.
