It's still early days in The Voice of Ireland competition, with one week to go in the swirly chair auditions (is that what they're called? They should be). However, the bookies have already got a favourite for who will walk away with the grand prize of a year of obscurity followed by a Reality Bites documentary.
At the moment, Ladbrokes have 22-year-old Limerick man Niall O'Halloran at the odds on favourite at 5/2, while he's followed by Kayleigh Cullinan at 4/1, Patrick Donoghue at 5/1 and Pat Fitz at 7/1. As you can see, having the name of 'Paddy', 'Pat' or 'Patrick' is a distinct advantage in The Voice of Ireland, as is wearing a bowler hat.
You can see the full list of odds here.
Below is Niall O'Halloran's audition if you're curious. Bressie looks like he's fallen in love, bless him. Although so do the rest of the judges, who all turned their chair around for Niall as you'll see...
