From the looks of the trailer, this is one TV reboot we could get on board with.
While a teaser for 'Bel-Air' landed only back in late November, it didn't include any footage from the series.
Now there's a full-length official trailer and we're definitely intrigued.
The show is a reboot of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air', but imagines the story as a drama rather than a comedy.
'Fresh Prince' launched Will Smith to fame, and the actor is an executive producer on the reboot.
Like the original, 'Bel-Air' follows a teenager named Will as he leaves Philadelphia to live with the Banks family in their swanky mansion.
From the looks of the trailer, the reasons for him leaving Philly may be violent...
Jabari Banks plays Will and the series also stars Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz, and Simone Joy Jones as Lisa.
Here's the trailer.
'Bel-Air' debuts in the US. on February 13, 2022, on streaming service Peacock.
Its premiere date on Sky TV and NOW in Ireland and the UK is TBC.
