There wasn't a dry eye in the house last month when 'The Great British Bake Off' said goodbye to one of this year's most popular contestants, Terry Hartill.

It was all down to the heartfelt speech made by baker Terry as he departed the show. He spoke about how 'Bake Off' helped him deal with the death of his wife as it gave him something new to focus on, and honestly, it was heartbreaking and uplifting all at once.

Terry, who is not on social media, wanted to express his gratitude to those that helped make his experience so great, as well as the viewers that supported him along the way, so sent a letter to the 'Bake Off' team, which they uploaded today ahead of tonight's final.
