The Twin Peaks reboot has added yet another big name to its ever expanding cast list with the addition of Ashley Judd.
Judd, who viewers would most recently have seen in the first two instalments of the Divergent series, will be playing an as yet unspecified role. She's just one of many new cast members joining the show. Making their Twin Peaks debut alongside her will be (deep breath) Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern, Naomi Watts, Robert Knepper, James Belushi, Tom Sizemore, Balthazar Getty, Grant Goodeve, Larry Clarke and Caleb Landry Jones.
They'll be appearing in the series alongside returning stars (another deep breath) Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, Mädchen Amick, Michael Horse, Dana Ashbrook and Miguel Ferrer, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton and Everett McGill.
As you'd expect with Twin Peaks, details on the plot or what characters any of the new additions to the show will be playing is very much a mystery. All we have to go on is the teaser trailer Showtime released before Christmas.
The Twin Peaks reboot will finally be on our screens at some point in 2017.
