Wow, NBC really thought out of the box during that crunch meeting... As Donald Trump is currently running for president (still something we're trying to wrap the head around), he is unable to undertake his usual duties of pouting, pointing, squinting, bobbing his voluminous hair and roaring YOU'RE FIRED on the US version of Celebrity Apprentice.
Given Trump is (worryingly given democracy) is seemingly very popular with the viewers, NBC have decided to replace him with a rich 60-year-old white male Republican, who is famous in the extreme and has dabbled in politics. He also has pretty impressive hair and is fond of the odd catchphrase.

Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is due to take over from Trump next season, and while NBC are keen to distance themselves since The Donald's unfortunate comments regarding Mexicans were repeatedly aired, it seems they're not willing to deviate much from type. Trump, meanwhile, reckons he didn't want to host the show again now that he's so busy, so 'neh'.
Speaking of his new role with the network, Arnie said: "I have always been a huge fan of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork. I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity."
We're sure his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, is also thrilled given she's an NBC News anchor...
