Andrew Scott is joining the cast of 'Fleabag' for its second season, it has been revealed.
The Irish actor will join the likes of the BBC3/Amazon show's creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Sian Johnson, Bill Paterson and Olivia Colman in the comedy, which was nominated for 6 BAFTAs in 2016, winning three.
Filming on Season 2 of the show has already begun, with Waller-Bridge saying: "I can’t believe they let me do this again. I’m so happy to be back with the incredible ‘Fleabag’ team, and I’m as surprised as anyone about where this series has taken us….Thank God for Andrew Scott.”
Scott's most recent work has included voice work for the likes of 'School of Roars' and 'Big Hero 6 The TV Series', but it'll be interesting to see what the 'Sherlock' villain brings to the 'Fleabag' table.
