In case you missed it at the weekend, Andrea Begly won this years The Voice UK.

The singer pipped finalists Mike Ward, Leah McFall and Matt Henry to the post to secure herself a recording contract on Saturday night's final of The Voice UK. Despite Leah McFall being the favourite to win this year it was Begley who impressed the viewers to win the competition.

Begley sang 'My Immortal', 'Angel' and 'Hall of Fame' with the Script. Mentor Danny O'Donoghue admitted she was an 'inspiration' to him. Begley said about the win 'I actually can't speak. I never ever, ever could have imagined this.Honestly, first and foremost I have to thank everyone at home for voting for me. Hopefully I will try my best to put your vote to good use and be a success. Thank you so much'.

However, not everyone was so happy about Begley's win, as will.i.am reportedly stormed off stage after the announcement. A source said, 'that he walked off stage from his chair looking really cheesed off and shaking his head.' Will.i.am was mentor to Leah, who was the favourite to win until Begley took the surprise victory. The popstar later took to Twitter expressing his disappointment saying 'You should feel the audience's vibration in the room tonight after the public's vote … it's unexplainable … so sad … perplexed'. He quickly followed it with another tweet 'Andrea is amazing … don’t get me wrong … but we know who has the incredible voice'.

Andrea spoke out about the tweets saying she was not surprised at will.i.am's outburst. 'I had a good chat with Will afterwards. Every coach is 110% behind their act and Will was definitely very much from the get-go behind Leah, and I'm not surprised that he said that. Will spoke to me and he wishes me well, but obviously everybody wants their act to win and I can understand that he maybe was disappointed. But at the end of the day the audience voted me, so that's it.'
