Yes, we know the BAFTAs were in February, but those were just the film BAFTAs, and now we're talking TV. The shortlist of nominees for the BAFTA Radio Rimes Audience Award was released today, and from the looks of it, it's certainly going to be a tight race to the finish.
Game of Thrones heads up against Call The Midwife, and Danny Boyle's Olympic Opening Ceremony on the list, which also includes The Great British Bake Off, Homeland and Strictly Come Dancing Series 10. Whether you liked them or loathed them. you've got to agree, that's some pretty stiff competition, and the viewing public will be hard pushed to pick just one.
Voting for the award opens today right here, and closes at midnight on May 9th. Previous winners of the awar include Celebrity Juice, The Inbetweeners and, uhm, The Only Way Is Essex. Yeah. we're not quite sure how that happened either....
