The majority of American Crime Story news of late has been relating to the third season which focuses on the assassination of fashion icon Gianni Versace.
You'd almost forget that the second season of the series, which focuses on Hurricane Katrina is set to be released first.
Thus far, we'd learned that second season's cast boasted Matthew Broderick as Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Director Michael D. Brown. He was the man in charge of the Goverment's response to the disaster. It had also been announced that Annette Benning would play Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco. Frequent Ryan Murphy collaborator Sarah Paulson will also be in the series but her role has yet to be revealed.
Another significant role that has now been announced is that of former President George W. Bush. The 43rd President of the United States was heavily criticized for his handling of the crisis.
Dennis Quaid will play him in the anthology series.
