The final countdown is on for this year's Toy Show, it's only HOURS away, people! Then it is officially Christmas folks, there'll be no stopping it after this. So what can we expect from Ryan and the gang tonight?
Well you may have already heard that the theme for this shindig is 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', which for those of you that didn't have a childhood, was the most magical movie of all time that involved a car that could fly (yes, FLY), which better be how Ryan arrives in to studio tonight. We do know he will be performing in the opening number though, so you know, you've been warned.
Ryan will also be wearing not one but four Christmas jumpers throughout the show as turns out there were a lot of winners to this 'knit Ryan a Christmas jumper' competition. We'll say nothing.
There is also going to be children EVERYWHERE tonight, as this year they have a record number of them on performing and testing toys. How many exactly you might wonder? 269! So let's spare a thought for the staff of The Toy Show shall we? They are basically running the biggest creche in Ireland tonight.
There will be a whopping 500 toys in the studio too, with 200 of them featured in the show and another 300 used in the set, which was designed by RTE's award winning set-designer Darragh Treacy. Fair play Darragh. Oh and all the toys go to charity afterwards, so that's nice.
If you're not watching on our fair shores you can catch the whole thing on RTE player, and of course it will be repeated on Sunday afternoon, because let's face it, the excitement of the whole thing may just have the lot of us passed out by 11pm.
And for those of you with little ones who want to know where and how you can get the toys on the show, they will all be featured on the show's website www.rte.ie/tv/latelate as well as Aertel.... is Aertel really still a thing?
All the magic begins tonight on RTE1 at 9.35pm, and if you're a fan of the Twitter, join us @entertainmentie where we will be live tweeting the whole thing.
We're just going to go right ahead and say this, we don't even care.... happy Christmas!!
