Forget Michael J Fox's Spin City, it's all about the small screen version of Sin City now. Or at least it will be in the not too distant future if The Weinstein Company's latest wish comes true.
The New York Times reports that the company wants to create a brand new TV show based on Frank Miller's comic and launch it some time within the next 12 months. Bob Weinstein told the newspaper that Miller would collaborate with Robert Rodriguez to bring the concept to life, news which we're sure will be welcomed by devout fans of the series.
There was talk of a TV show based on the tale a while back (in 2005 to be precise) but it never amounted to anything. Sin City took to movie theatres instead, kicking backside and taking names while garnering a whole host of new fans in the process.
The sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, is due in cinemas in August 2014 and Weinstein says the show shouldn't be too far behind it. We can't help but wonder if they'll be able to get any of those famous names on board too?
