As we eagerly await details and news about Game of Thrones' seventh season, little snippets of information is beginning to make its way online as production continues.
As it goes with many leaks and on-set rumours, it's important to take anything and everything you hear with a pinch of salt. However, this plot leak that cropped up over on WatchersOnTheWall.com definitely sounds convincing enough to be real.
Obviously, it goes without saying that by reading on, you're happy to know a potentially huge plot line from the next season of Game of Thrones.
So, here goes..

Still here? OK, here's the skinny.
A major plot line in the next season will focus on the internal struggle between the Greyjoys. You'll recall how Euron Greyjoy (that guy below in the image), Yara and Theon's uncle, set off to find Daenarys and make her his wife. Yara and Theon, however, got to Daenarys first and brokered a deal with her which allowed her army to reach Westeros. The final scene of the last season saw Yara and Theon's fleet of ships, loaded with Dothraki, Unsullied and so on, headed straight for Cersei Lannister and Westeros.
So, the story is that Euron, after realising that he can't get to Daenarys then decides to join forces with Cersei Lannister and pledges House Greyjoy to her cause. A major battle takes place on sea between Yara and Theon against Euron, with one of them ending up captured by their uncle. The source on WatchersOnTheWall.net was unable to verify who got captured, but did say it was one of them.
Moreover, Euron also manages to kill off one of Dorne's Sand Snakes - meaning that he's obviously some sort of gun-for-hire for Cersei who's traversing the land and offing people at Cersei's request.
So, analysis. What does this all mean? Is it true?
Watchersonthewall.net is usually fairly on the nose and a lot of their rumours do tend to be accurate. It stands to reason that Euron would join up with Cersei, primarily because why introduce him and then NOT use him? It also makes sense that he'd go after his nephew and niece to teach them a lesson. He won the Kingsmoot and was crowned the King of the Iron Islands, so they should - by right, anyway - follow his command. If they don't, they're good as dead.
