As ever, Twitter was alive with activity throughout last night's 'Late Late Toy Show'.
Across the entire evening, the show's official hashtag - #latelatetoyshow - trended globally, with as many tweeting here in Ireland as there were abroad. By all accounts, everyone went in prepared to be cynical and came out the other side of it just taken by it all.
Beyond the emotional moments of the show - Sophia, Sophie and her brother Cian, the two mums - there were plenty of moments of hilarity throughout the show, not to mention Tom and his knitwork and so on.
Here's some of the best tweets on the night.

Ryan Tubridy has done an incredible and sensitive job of discussing child illness, loss, homelessness and bullying tonight. This year is about the children, not the toys, and it's made all the difference. #LateLateToyShow
