Day Two

Peter Collins presents coverage of day two from Japan, including the conclusion of the women's cycling road race at Fuji International Speedway. Taekwondo finals also take place at Makuhari Messe Hall, with Great Britain's Jade Jones hoping to be in the frame for a third successive gold medal in the women's -57kg. Over at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre, US star Katie Ledecky will be in action as the heats continue. Ledecky is already a five-time Olympic champion and is set to be one of the stars of these Games. The 400m freestyle has been one of her favoured events, but she will face a strong challenge from rising Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus, who sensationally beat her at the last World Championships in South Korea
