The semi-finals continue as the second group of surviving amateurs cook a dish for John Torode and Gregg Wallace that they would have on the menu of their own restaurant, pop-up or featured in their cookbook. In an unexpected twist, the contestants discover that they are also presenting their food to top chef Marcus Wareing. After two leave the contest, the remaining three head to The Game Bird restaurant at The Stafford Hotel to work with culinary director Ben Tish, serving the restaurant's staff. No one knows the food better than they do and expectations are high of the contenders
