Kathryn Thomas meets 28-year-old Cara Connolly from Belfast, who has had to cope with kidney disease since she was a teenager. On seeing her polycystic kidneys in 3D, she's shocked to discover that they're four times bigger than a healthy kidney. Her consultant Tim Browne is proposing a novel surgical treatment to buy her some time to keep her off the transplant list for as long as possible.
