Season: 2018
A 2018 edition, in which Alan Yentob travelled to Hollywood to interview comedy actor, writer, producer and director Mel Brooks. At the time of filming, the musical theatre version of Brooks' 1974 comedy horror Young Frankenstein had just opened on London's West End and Yentob marked the occasion by profiling its creator, observing him at work and play, and revisiting archive interviews.
